Has President Obama Solved Lakewood's School Funding Woes?

I think the President has unwitingly found a solution to the problem of school funding.

In his State of the union speech the President outlined a new proposal where people would be taxed not on how much they made but according to who they worked for. If you worked for the private sector you would pay more for your student loan than if you worked for government, if you worked for the government your loan would be forgiven etc..

At first I was a bit troubled by this blatantly unconstitutional discrimination. However, I haven't heard a whole lot of concern about the constitutionality of that type of policy.

So... if it is constitutional to tax people less because they work for the government then it must be constitutional to tax people MORE because they work for the government.

So....why not higher property taxes and higher income taxes for only people who work for government? Why not higher taxes on ONLY government pensions?

In the Obamanation all things are possible.

I wonder if the President has seen A Man For All Seasons?

In one scene, Mr. Scofield, playing the soon-to-be-martyred Sir Thomas More in Henry VIII's England, argues with his sanctimonious son-in-law over the importance of laws. Will Roper, the son-in-law, wants to cut down any laws that get in the way of defeating the devil's work.

''And when the last law was cut down and the devil turned round on you, where would you hide, Roper, the laws all being flat? This country is planted thick with laws, from coast to coast -- man's laws, not God's -- and if you cut them down, and you're just the man to do it, do you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then?'' Mr. Scofield pauses for just a beat. ''Yes,'' he continues, ''I give the devil benefit of law for my own safety's sake.''

Bill

Isn't it nice to live in Obamanation? So much better than living behind the Bushes.
All things are possible, not just wars, and tax cuts for the wealthiest 3%.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes, all things are possible.
