As an aside if Scott brown got elected by thrashing the health care bill by saying it was forced on the american people and we can afford it. (I am assuming that is the stance of the tea paryters, since his win somehow signifies the movement is now real.) How is he going to handle the Iraq war that was forced on american? Or is that ok because we are not paying any taxes to support it?

You have to look through the smoke and mirrors. Of course you are better prepared than most
as you live in Lakewood where people change names faster than underwear. The Tea Party
would be extreme right Rs, that have gone so far right they can align with the far left on some things.
Throw in a few Libertarians, and some slogans and bam! you got the Tea Party.
Then add 40% of the Neue Independents, which would those Rs that got tired of defending
GWB after he left office, and no longer want to take responsibility or explain the worse
president of all time, and you have the Neue Independent Tea Party.
As for the health care, it turns out that Massachusetts actually has better health care then
what has been watered down in the Senate, so they said no thank you.
There is certainly a ever growing malaise in the USA that started with GWB's first election
and has grown and grown. I believe many would have spoken up during the GWB days
but because they align themselves closer to Rs than Ds, guns, welfare, education etc. They
have waited to speak up because we have a black President that is not cleaning the mess
up fast enough for them. I would say 60% are the ones that repeatedly said for 8 years,
"You are un-American for not backing the president 100%, 100% of the time."
The beautiful thing about America, room for all.
