I applaud the Unions for negotiating on behalf of their members (that is there job). So much for change, the Constitution has been put in the shredder..

Here's the deal: Unions keep their cadillac health insurance to 2018 and Dems continue to get Union $upport while the rest of America gets the shaft.
Side deals everywhere you turn. AARP, doctors, Pharma, Louisiana, Nebraska, etc.
If it has to be "sold" so hard, then why are we allowing this to happen?
This is not health care reform, it's how to screw the middle class even further!

You know what the average American needs? We need to form a special interest group or a lobby group or something like that.
[sarcasm]We need someone in Washington so we can have some representation once in a while.
Wait a second... [/sarcasm]

Change is all that I'll have left in my pocket after the Obama presidency
Cap and Trade, Health Care "Reform", new tax on banks (who doesn't think the banks will turn around and pass on to you and me?) and on and on....is there anything that Obama and the dems are doing that doesn't involve raising taxes?

Wow, went broke in one year!
Has nothing to do with the nightmare left behind.
I love this thread. Oh yeah, only the dems cater to special interest.
Roy is right, we need to hire some lobbyists for us.

Good point Jim. Bush ran up a $1.85 Trillion deficit during his 8 years in office. Obama has not not quite matched that amount in his first year. He fell a bit short.. In his first year in office, Obama ran up a $1.75 Trillion deficit.

Oh that's right, the Eisel way.
Let one(always the R) off the hook?

Hell no! Do not mistake my support for Bush's actions in Iraq as a blank check of support for the Bush admin.. Ron Paul was right...

Not quite broke yet....but paying child care while 2 people work and get only 1 income might put us in the poor house. (I’ll add the 1 income isn’t what is used to be either)

Throwing gas on a fire and then blaming the person before you isn't working anymore. Maybe you should review the who ruined the economy thread again.

Never said that only dems cater. Open your eyes Jim. Pull your head out of the sand. See what is going on. Union deal after union deal. Sickening.
Jim O'Bryan wrote:Roy is right, we need to hire some lobbyists for us..
He is right but I can’t afford one. Remember, 2 working + 1 income + child care = broke.

After all, don't most lobbyists just represent those kind of groups? The squeaky wheel gets the grease, right?

It seems the only group without a lobbyist are the straight, white, Christian males.
The squeaky wheel used to get the grease. Now the wheel with the most grea$e to hand out gets the attention.

Watched this twice, still do not understand how the Charlie request of needing a lobbyist for straight white christian males, has anything to do with Obama's failures and BS.
Stephen, you really have to come to grips with this. THEY are not serving us.
But how would I expect a person like you to understand that. As you have pointed out, after 8 years of defending GWB, you feel the genocide of 200,000 Iraqis for nothing to be GWB's crowning moment of glory.
But now that I think, maybe it does make sense. You are outraged that I think the American people need a lobbyist, but you feel it should be for white, christian, straight, males.
Damn man, you have to learn where the real borders are drawn.
Still officially outraged.
With this thread I have to quote Frank Zappa's Trouble Coming Every Day. Hey, you know something people? I'm not black But there's a whole lots a times I wish I could say I'm not white
Blow your harmonica son.
All I am not taking or trying to suggest these are racists comment. But I fail to see where any of us are winning. Now, the past 8 years, the 8years before that, the 12 years before that and on and on and on.
