The Observation Deck

There was a notice on the door of the building where I live that the city will be collecting recycling items put on the Detroit Ave. tree lawn, beginning, I think, this Monday. I have to read it again.

But this is great, too late for me here, hopefully they'll be doing it at the Westerly.

Many apartment dwellers have been using friends tree lawns or going to the Collection Dept. on Berea Rd. This is a great step in the right direction.

This cannot come soon enough. I just saw a woman this morning at 6:30 am bring out several small bags from the Westerly and put them near the trash can next to the bus stop. I dont know if they were recycling, but she was gone and they were still there when I came back through a half hour later.
