Stolen Signs

Post by Ryan Patrick Demro »

The polls haven't even been open for an hour and my signs have mysteriously disappeared from Garfield School. Let's play fairly now.

Ryan -

Perhaps you can replace the signs you feel are missing with the ones placed along the on- and off-ramps on Lakewood's stretch of I-90.

These illegally placed signs make our public spaces look trashy. I hope you find the time to get these removed.

Thanks in advance.

Ryan -

I am still seeing some of your illegally placed yard signs littering our McKinley I-90 westbound exit.

Any thoughts as to when you can get these removed?

Thanks, again, in advance.

David

While I appreciate the reminder to Ryan, I see some other political signs up there
and around in public places, or vacant homes that have other candidates names.

Maybe they could all pickup their mess.

FWIW

I have not seen others, Jim, but have no doubt that they are out there.

Providing names and locations may help.

However, Ryan's initial "Let's play fairly, now" post sort of makes his illegally placed signs stand out a bit more to me.

Ryan -

It was nice to read your comments posted yesterday in another thread.

With your schedule being what it is these days, coupled with this thread, which you initiated, having migrated to the second page, you may have missed my posts regarding some of your yard signs.

Do you have any thoughts as to when your illegally placed signs will be removed from the I-90 West McKinley ramp?

Thanks.

David, I am not sure what you are implying about my schedule, but those signs have been removed.

I was simply suggesting that I was not expecting immediate replies to any of my posts on this subject due to your day job and campaign.

Thank you for removing the signs.

Last weekend someone stole ALL of my yard signs.

At least the Cross of St. George still flys high.

Nobody has touched our one candidate sign. And they better not touch the TriC Issue 4 sign! Sign-stealing should go out with buying voters whiskey as a tactic best suited for period films and the past.

My wife talked to Ryan D when he was door to door canvassing in our neighbourhood. So he's not put off by a sign for another candidate, which is good for keeping election politics civil, which is far from what's happening nationally, alas.
