Celebrate by attending the Phase 3 meeting....

Celebrate by supporting (i.e. voting for) the future bond issue to finish Phase 3 :)

Awesome! Thanks Christine and Jim for posting that news for those of us who missed it! Wow we are top grade steak! I have know all along that our report card never truly reflected the excellent teaching I have witnessed with my children. This is really incredible good news for Lakewood and one of the most important pieces in keeping our housing market stable!

Well said. Case in point Cleveland. No one wants to move into a city where they can not send their kids to school...

The quilty of the schools must be kept at a high level in order to reduce "flight" and attract young people just starting out.

To echo the words of Charlie, Justine, and Jim, we can all celebrate the Lakewood City Schools’ excellence by voicing strong support for our system of public education, voting in favor of operating and bond levies, and attending school functions from football games to concerts to the Phase III community meetings regardless of whether you have children enrolled in the school system.
