And taxpayer funded ACORN was behind the "protests" of AIG bonuses.

Who were the PR firms client(s) who paid for this?

From the footage I've seen, it looks like a lot of senior citizens are in the protests. I'd be willing to bet most are using Medicare.

Nothing makes me laugh more than senior citizens on MEDICARE shouting about the evils of SOCIALIZED MEDICINE.

That's a good point.

One of the arguments President Obama uses to explain the need for socialized medicine is that spending on medicare and medicare will bankrupt the states and federal government.

http://www.ncpa.org/pub/ba662

If government faces bankruptcy because it provides health care to 25% of the population what will happen when the government provides 100% of the care.

You are flat out wrong about the nature and source of the concern over Obamacare. The type of protest you see are far more real than those engineered by the government funded groups such as ACORN and SEIU.

You should be a little more concerned about Obama's call for violence against his political opponents and his newly enacted "dissident data base" in the White House.

Bill, are you with the Pervert Palin and her sudden resurrection of Death Boards which are the archetype of the total control of the Nazi state over the individual?

Need I remind you of this, Bill? http://recessrally.com/about/

Also, when has Obama called for violence? Sources, please.

Obama isn't going to make that kind of call directly...

They put one of yours in the hospital, you put one of theirs in the morgue. It's the Chicago way.

As a member of SEIU, I am excited to find that we are government funded! It means I no longer have to pay dues!! Or extra out-of-pocket funds to support my reps weekly visits to the White House (finally!). Yippee!!

Never said they were government funded. I suppose there are those people interested in beating up others for free.

all these oldsters keep showing up at townhall meetings.

they don't want government to get their hands on medicare.

They don't want socialism taking away their social security.

they must have fox news or listen to rush limbaugh or glenn beck or doctor laura on the radio.

occasionally we get white noise about who is voting against caps on medical malpractice lawsuits. we don't get figures on how the cost of those suits and settlements compares against rising healthcare costs. blame the judges and juries, not the laws.

There is one one valid argument for malpractice settlement caps: if someone is really that messed up or crippled by doctors, they can just go on medicare and social security. the doctor has a 99.99 percent success rate. no point in every other patient paying for it that .01 percent.
