This morning I had the honor of attending the H2O Summer Service Camp Breakfast in the L-Room at Lakewood High School.
The Breakfast was well attended by our civic leaders including, but not limited to, Mayor Edward FitzGerald, Lakewood City Schools Superintendent Dr. P. Joseph Madak, School Board Member Linda Beebe, Lakewood High School Principal Bill Wagoner, Garfield Middle School Principal Mark Walter, Lakewood Alumni Foundation Executive Director Teresa Coyne Andreani, Ward 1 City Councilperson Kevin Butler, At-Large City Councilperson Brian Powers, Jay Foran, parents, and, of course, Ceil Dorsch, Nora Steele, Lynn Foran, the Counselor Staff, and 2009 H2O Summer Service Campers. I am sure I am missing someone. But, you get the idea. It was well attended.
Thank you for the invitation and for serving the needs of Lakewood and our youth.

As we celebrate our 15th year, nearly 100 middle school youth have already spent 2 weeks of their summer volunteering in and around Lakewood , learning about locally grown produce, and seeing how they can personally make a difference in their community. Another 100 are anxiously awaiting their turn!
