Avast Ye!
Friday and Saturday on Madison begins with a crew of pirates lead by no other than the infamous Jack Sparrow. This Crew will ascend on Madison to begin an evening of debauchery (but all in good fun) on Friday eve at 9pm on the East End of town. You will know this merry band of hellions as they will be adored in Pirate Attire of course—and will make no secret of their presence so please join them for an evening of amusement.
Saturday at Noon (not too early for those needing some extra shut eye) will begin the the Second Saturday Lakewood ArtWalk where in spite of the predictions of squally weather will be a perfect opportunity to peruse the many businesses housing some of the most notable and fascinating artisans in our area. Inclement weather…..A “true” pirate will show no fear.
And to close the weekend of treasure hunting and thrill seeking will be the Afterwood Party—an opportunity to trade artistic treasures found during the day or otherwise, perhaps partaking in a grog or two and devouring grub from some of Lakewood’s finest establishments all for a gold doubloon or $10 donation.
Embrace your inner pirate and join us for the weekend on Madison Avenue!

Ruthie,
Pirates are located on the other side of the west end border. This is a town of Rangers!

Oops....(smile)
Well, I suppose, with a real stretch of the imagination, that the cartoon Ranger might loosely resemble a pirate on a misty foggy night....but then again....
