Mrs. Marshall at Lincoln Elementary

I got an invite to this event on Facebook and figured I would pass it on to anyone interested here...Mrs. Marshall from Lincoln is retiring this year and they are having a celebration of her years as a teacher at Lincoln. Here is the letter that was posted on facebook.
"Dear Friends of Mrs. Maureen Marshall,
After 43 years of teaching (35 years in Lakewood Schools) Mrs. Marshall is retiring. She'll be hanging up her Sharpie markers on June 10, 2009. But really, who are we kidding?! She's not going to slow down! Certainly, Maureen will take this opportunity to do something fantastic like run her own art gallery or travel the countryside. But... before she does, those of us fortunate enough to have been in her classroom, either as a student or parent of one, would like to extend our warmest wishes and appreciation.
On the evening of Tuesday, June 9, 2009 from 6-8pm, we will be gathering in front of Lincoln School to raffle off a log cabin that has been in Mrs. Marshall's class for the better part of 10 years. Raffle tickets will be $5 each or 3 for $10 with all of the proceeds going to an organization very near and dear to Maureen's heart... The Cleveland Food Bank. During this time, we will also be sharing stories, laughter, and saying "see ya soon" to a very special mentor and friend.
We would love to have as many former students as possible attend this dessert reception so PLEASE consider yourself invited. If it is not possible for you to attend, please take a moment to send a letter, photo, or special anecdote that we can share with Maureen that evening.
Please send all correspondence to:

Lakewood, OH 44107
