I don't know much about Kennedy's experience - if any. But it's fair to point out that the Veep is considerably more likely to become president in a crisis than a junior Senator might.

Personally I find the whole "experience" issue a bit dubious, as I'd rather judge candidates on their ideas than how many times they've been elected before. So worry not about bias from me, I found Palin's ideas awful, not her resume.

LOL Palin was responsible for a $10 billion budget, and managed $13 billion in revenue. She ran a government that employed 25,000 people. The other 3 voted for budgets but did not have to manage them as an executive nor did they ever manage 25,000 people. Jim, never let the truth get in the way.

She "ran" a government, that went from solid to questionable. She had the funding of Kuwait, with oil reserves and was able to do little more than cut some jobs, move the bridge to nowhere elsewhere, and not complete the pipeline that is in such a state of disorder it will probably never be built in our lifetime.

Might be the best Rs have, but very weak in everything else.

I suppose that we could argue (with a smile) that Caroline had all kinds of White House experience, but I think that perhaps her overriding qualification would be with the public experience that she received during the week of November 22nd, 1963.

That alone qualifies her for the senate, in my book.

As a point of fact, I've never even had a cigarette, much less the liquid that you are asking about.

I would simply suggest that we are better served sticking to the issues, and leaving personal points of order aside.

Just because you might not agree with someone does not give you the right to get personal with them.
