As I predicted weeks ago, she really cost McCain.
Northern suburbanites (like the ones who showed up at Lakewood Park dressed like empty green space) reject her BIG TIME!
McCain obviously made a HUGE mistake. Romney might have helped him with the economic argument (and in Michigan, too).
Lieberman would have won over a lot of independents in PA and OH....how could the dems have argued against their own former nominee?
Obama and Biden both endorsed Lieberman in 2006...how could they have trashed him in 2008?
Barbie cost McCain the "experience" argument, and helped take national security completely off the table. Lieberman would have helped in Florida, too.
Thankfully, she is a gift that will keep on giving. Now that she is free from McCain's handlers, she is REALLY going to start saying and doing stupid things. I can't wait for the daughter's shotgun wedding. We ain't seen nothin' yet....Palin '12!!

Holding onto anger is like grasping onto a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else. You are the one who gets burned."

Barbie cost McCain the "experience" argument
She manages a $26 billion dollar budget, 20,000 employees, and is the Commander in Chief of Alaska National Guard.

Two things:
IT'S OVER.
and
No one begrudged the other party when they gloated over their victory four years ago. Seriously, grin and bear it today... hell, for the rest of the week.

It's a new dawn, this is the way it is now.
We need to stand together as a country. Those willing to do that will be heard and including.
Those that grouse and complain will also be heard and included.
We must make sure that we live up to the concession speech that John McCain delivered last night and the speech that President-elect Obama gave..
Those that love our country, all of us, need to work together to heal the damage and build the future.
It's as simple as that.
