Okay, yes, I havn't cleaned out my ears in quite a while, but did I actually hear the quote from Jim Moran (D-VA) correctly????

Please tell me there is more to this than the clip I have heard on the radio.

What I heard was something to the extent of.... we've been living under the control of a republican party that operates under the simplistic idea that people of wealth are entitled to keep it.

Can someone please explain this?

As far as I'm concerned, that's been the subtext for the last eight years.

C’mon Bret, you have to get with the new way of thinking. Sharing the wealth is in. Sharing the risk, sharing the responsibility and sharing the work to create wealth is so old school. :)

Remember poor people don't work. Remember that when the trucks don't arrive and the buses aren't on time and the streets aren't paved. Hey working class people don't work.

Only those who wear clean clothes and work on computers all day keep the country running.

I guess I should have used Bret’s warning of sarcastic content?

Poor people do work. Working class people do work. I never said nor implied differently.

We are each born with God-given talents. It’s up to each individual to figure out what those are and put them to work to earn a living. Some have been able to figure it out and do quite well. You reap what you sow. This is the land of opportunity not the land of redistribution.

You and I see things differently and I’m okay with that. I’ll never sway you to my way of thinking and you’ll never sway me to yours. And I certainly don’t think any lesser of you or anyone who shares your beliefs. I hope you understand that.

I hope what you just wrote replaces the above comment.

Charlie I don't hate or dislike anyone. Honestly I don't.

We do need to respect everyone and value each other.

Blessings.
