An interesting article that I can now agree with

I canvassed for Barack Obama for the first time this Saturday with Councilman Tom Bullock. I have to tell you that the thought of going up to strangers doors and talking politics scared the hell out of me.
But as we went from house to house, I saw all the slices of life that America has to offer. We went from a old white male who proudly displayed his confederate flag and McCain/Palin sign that screamed at us to get off his property to a young mother next door that already voted and was excited for Tuesday. We went from a house that slammed the door to a house next door that had proud liberals ready to cast their ballots. And I came across a few who just asked "how is it looking, the percentage of those who are voting for Obama compared to those that are voting for McCain? I'm curious what you see while doing this".
Here's an article written about a 55-year-old white male banker who lives in the south, that was talked into canvassing for Barack Obama by his wife. This story ran on Yahoo! News.
Here is his experience:
"my wife made me canvass for Barack Obama; Here's what I learned"
