As you have to pipe your slurry in from Parma, you miss many of the dynamics of Life in da Wood.
We woul;d hop that the Cleveland Plain Dealer does not go out of business. While it is on the lips of many, including many of the past Cleveland Plain Dealer employees that now work with various Observer projects, we need the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Wow, I thought we were not holding out own over regional papers. I guess we are. Can I add in the other Observers?
One other big difference, though many think it is a trick.
The Lakewood Observer would never back a candidate. As a community paper we would rather let the politicians put it out there and let the people decide how it affects their lives. After all, I like the fact that Congressman Kucinich calls Lakewood his second home, that he has fought once again to keep the social Security office here, and brought 160 jobs to Lakewood in this downturn economy.
I like the fact the Congressman Kucinich, spends many an afternoon walking around Lakewood, taking in lunch at one of many Vegan places on Detroit and Madison.
I like the fact that Congressman Kucinich, fights the fight for Lakewood and everyone in the 10th District to Washington. I love the fact that when Congressman Kucinich runs for president, bringing the needs of us common folk to the nation, and shows the world that the 10th District is open minded, loving, looks to peace and fair commerce, but not at the cost of those in need. I love the fact that Congressman Kucinich is one of a handfull that is trying to keep America to the promises we made our veterans. To fight for quick and good health care and benefits. That we must never let our vets suffer after giving their time, effort, and lives to the freedom of this country.
I really like the fact that Congressman Kucinich carries a pocket copy of the Constitution and Amendments in his top pocket, always. That he can quote it, explain it, while he fights for it. The fact that is is signed by Senator Robert Byrd just makes it that much more special.
I like the fact that when walking Lakewood, Tremont, Slavik Village, and on and on that residents come out and greet him with a smile, and he always has time to listen, take notes, and follow up with their needs.
I love the fact the he married Elizabeth. A woman that brings much to his life and ours. Her background in banking, and currency is serving him very well right now, and when he called the Federal Reserve to task two years ago over funding, banks with Sub-Prime loans, and asking for a congressional inquiry. I also love the fact that he instantly said, we must work it from the home owners back, not from the top down. We must protect the home owner now and that will secure the banks.
But you must agree Dr. Kampe, that one of the things we all love Congressman Kucinich for is his stance against the War in Iraq. Had we listened to Congressman Kucinich the country would be $1 trillion dollars ahead, possibly $5 Trillion, we would be more secure, we would not have lost 4,000+ American lives, while destroying another 10,000+ America lives, while committing what could be perceived as mass murder against Iraqi civilians. That there would have been no torture, no loss of standing in the rest of the world.
Actually, he would have kept the Constitution alive, and stopped us for declaring a war against a country that had never attacked us. Ever!
Why do you hate Congressman Kucinich?
Or the media project that lets you spew your hate?
