Would you do this?

Station accidentally was only charging $0.35 per gallon even though their sign read $3.49. Dozens of people took the gas at the lower price without saying a word.

Would you have taken the gas and laughed or went in and told the attendant so they could fix it?

I would let the attendant know, no doubt about it.

Through the years I have walked out of stores a few times without being charged for items (two that I remember were once for a big pack of diapers and once for a pack of socks) both times I was at home when I realized it and immediately went back. I guess I am just that type of person. I look at these things as a test to a person's honesty and I don't know about other people but I feel that being honest is one of my character traits that I wouldn't want to lose.

I would go back and say something. Kharma is a bad thing. MY luck would be the gas was bad and my car would explode. Just like when I am not charged for something, I have this weird "fear" that the "free" item would cause me pain, grief or all of the above.
