EU Bans Incandescent Bulbs
Now they just have to find a place for all that mercury.
LED's really the way to go. Perhaps this will drive some innovation. Who knows perhaps we can do some of that innovating here.
The high energy filament bulbs are being phased out in order to improve energy efficiency and meet climate change targets.
