Thanks David. I have to wonder if these fact checking stories really matter to people. It seems like many of us watched different debates last night, so obviously we see the facts differently. But still I appreciate being able to read some facts.

One thing I would like to see in these fact checks is original sources because as I have been reading these over this morning it seems to be all about he said she said. Some have included sources (actual bills etc.) and those I can actually check but someone just saying he lied about this, she lied about this is just pointless. So after going through articles for the past 45 minutes I think it's just pointless everyone seems to just twist things to suit their own views.

Thanks, Stephen.

As usual, Biden's comments are, shall we say, open to interpretation as to his exact meaning.

Ok it is evident he said that and he said something different last night. I'm not sure if he had a change of heart or what, but clearly his statements were different.

As for clean coal, I have mixed emotions. I would really like to hear about developing clean renewable resources rather than continuing this use of fossil fuels. And "drill baby, drill" pissed me off. It's not something I hear people saying because most people know it won't make a lick of a difference right now.

speaking of "open to interpretation"...

I was a little confused when Biden suggested that the general in Afghanistan said that a surge wouldn't work, then detailed Obama's plan that called for more troops and more funding.

Huh?

I know two things about coal....

1) The US has a lot of it

2) and so does Santa Claus

PS JOB can verify n# 2

Sure clean coal. Over half of my great uncles and the last generation of male cousins died of black lung from working the mines in Scranton.

Burn a piece of fireplace coal sometime.

Not pretty.
