1) Fix healthcare, especially for veterans, children and the mentally ill
2) fix education, help children learn not teach them to only pass a test
3) get the economy moving, retrain workers
4) stop the cycle of poverty that entraps so many people
5) help curb our addiction to oil. we could have a cleaner environment, employee tons of poeple and get away from oil all at the same time if we invested in alternative sources of energy.
6) to go with the prior one, create a mass transit system that is user friendly nationwide
7) make taxation fair (I'm not an expert but I don't think flat tax is the way to go.
8 ) and I would also like to return to being a nation that other nations look up to.

Sorry to do this Stephen but I have a question about a flat tax, sales tax. I will admit I have not done a lot of reading up on the issue, but the little I have seems to say that it hits the poor more so than the rich. And that seems to make sense to me because there income is lower and therefore that tax is an exponentially larger portion of their income. So if you think I am wrong, tell me how a flat tax (sales tax) doesn't tax the poor to a larger percentage than the rich.

Regarding number six. Change the US to the Moon and other space objects and you have a deal.

It would also help the American Farmer.... Hemp has a wide variety of uses... rope, oils paper and etc...

Agree with all including 6 with a cap of 15 years. 5 to get it out, 5 to transfer/ramp up number 2, and 5 to phase out 6. (cold turkey is very expensive and oil is in every particle of our economy).

I want to see this the other way around.

Marriage is a legal, civil contract that should be available to all citizens.

Let the churches decide if they will perform marriages.

As it stands, churches already have all sorts of rules regarding marriage...
