Why is only the Daily Show doing this??

This was a valid question brought up on the Diane Rehm show last Friday. The question, posed even by one of the media guests, was asking why is it the Daily Show is the only one to (in the name of fun, of course) compare how people change their points of view in the media or on the campaign. To be fair, they are clearly in the camp of the democrats but they do bring up fun food for thought. Attached is a snippet of an episode earlier this week (beware...a bit of risque language...mostly bleeped...) where the words of Dick Morris, Bill O'Reilly and Karl Rove (and one or two others) are compared to situations earlier this year.
Enjoy!

Not sure why but it certainly is entertaining and makes me lose respect for a lot of our of flip-flopping politicians, advisors and journalists. And while Jon Stewart is liberal he certainly has no problem laughing at the democrats.

Thanks Phil. I had heard about this clip but for whatever reason did not go searching it out. Boy oh boy was I missing out.
You can not help but automatically discount any future statements by any of these "pinheads" after seeing something like this.
It is a bit scary that these are the people who get airtime

So is O'Reilly, Rove and so on a part of the same "big media" that the Republican's have a problem with? If so, I can see why.

The liberal media - that's what they keep saying, the liberal media.
The devil incarnate, except without a skirt, or old flip flops.

I think if they were to truly look at the media that is causing them problems they would find it comes from within their own ranks.

Here is another one along those lines. This is the side-by-side comparison of McCain's speech and GWB's from the 2000 election. Eerie how much "change" sounds like "same old, same old."

I don't always have time in the evening to watch the Daily Show so I love the links, but I need to make sure that I am not drinking or eating anything while watching because my keyboard is getting a little dirty.
