Cleveland Browns 1980's video

Hey there!

I almost had to put this in the Area 51 section because it is so odd but I have a strange request. A friend of mine who is likely too young to remember doesn't believe that in the 1980's the Cleveland Browns did a pseudo-fantasy movie with them as knights and...I have no idea. I never saw it but saw the VHS tape and some stills from it a long time ago. I don't remember its name or exactly which era it was in but I HAVE to have some physical proof it existed.

Does anyone have a link or a picture or something I can send to my bud to show the oddness of our favorite sports team? I still have the 45 of 12 Days of Cleveland Browns X-Mas somewhere but this one escaped me.

Any pics or links would be soooo helpful. If only to put my mind at peace. :D

Later!

Phil

I have no idea what you're talking about.

Sounds like a bizarre combination of two of the worst projects of all time....."The Super Bowl Shuffle" and "Kiss meets the Phantom of the Park"

Yes to both of those.

On a sadder note, I did find a link to it on the IMDB. It is called "Masters of the Gridiron" from 1985.

Oy...and here is the VHS tape. Looked to be a fund raiser video. Thank goodness.

And last but not least...video proof. Ugh

That was some great acting. I guess that we can just excuse this all as being bad taste from the 80's, after all that was what the decade was about.

That's the coolest thing I've ever seen.

I was asking some bodies about this video, and one of them claimed that somewhere in Melt is a promotional poster for Masters of the Gridiron. This has not, as yet, been confirmed.
