Artemis Fowl
Artemis Fowl: Artemis Fowl Series, Book 1 by Eoin Colfer with narration by Nathaniel Parker.
From a strikingly original voice in fiction comes the story of Artemis Fowl, a very unusual hero. Artemis combines the astuteness of Sherlock Holmes with the sangfroid of James Bond and the attitude of Attila the Hun. But even Artemis doesn't know what he's taken on when he kidnaps a fairy, Captain Holly Short of LEPrecon Unit. These aren't the fairies of bedtime stories. These fairies are armed and they're dangerous. Artemis thinks he's got them just where he wants them, but then they stop playing by the rules . . . Full of unexpected twists and turns, Artemis Fowl opens up a riveting world of magic, mystery, and humor. Parts: 6, Duration: 6 hours, 23 minutes. Software needed: OverDrive Media Console 1.0

This Week's Featured E-Book

Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie with narration by Roe Kendall.
As a baby, Peter Pan fell out of his carriage and was taken by fairies to Never-Never Land. There he can fly and is the champion of the Lost Boys and a friend to the fairy Tinker Bell. Revisiting England, Peter becomes involved with Wendy Darling and her younger brothers, all of whom accompany Peter to Never-Never Land. Peter, the Lost Boys, and the children have many adventures and vanquish the pirate Captain Hook. The Darling children eventually return home, taking the Lost Boys with them and leaving Peter Pan to his perpetual boyhood. J.M. Barrie adored young Margaret Henley, who called him "my Wendy" (for "Friendy") and died at the age of six. The name "Wendy" had never been used before Peter Pan. And he used to walk in Kensington Gardens, in London, and meet the five boys of the Llewellyn Davies family, who were to become the Lost Boys of the book. Peter Pan began with stories he told these boys in the park, and continued in the games of pirates and Red Indians he played with them when they visited his holiday cottage. Parts: 5, Duration: 5 hours, 39 minutes. Software needed: OverDrive Media Console 1.0
