Florida seems to be beating out Ohio for election problems.

I'm not sure why Democrats shot themselves in the toe by ignoring Florida for the Primary. Sure, FLA jumped the primary gun...whatever that means. Sure, the Dems seemed to have agreed to all avoid the state...but in the end, won't they really, really, really want Florida on their side when the big show starts after the official race begins? Are they hoping that Florida doesn't remember a few short months prior to the run for the White House when potential candidates decided to ignore their party faithful? Clinton's dog and pony show was widely predicted (do nothing to earn the victory then swoop in and claim said victory and act like it was earned). Sheesh.

I wonder where the 10-15% that usually support Edwards will go? My guess would be Obama but that might be hopeful thinking, too.

All of the hubbub in recent months about primary schedules never really made sense to me. I just don't really understand what the big deal is. Michigan had the same punishment (and Clinton did the same thing). I guess I understand why a state like Iowa would want to be first (so the candidates come there), but what does the DNC care? The RNC doesn't seem bothered.

But I agree with you Phil. In a few months, you might wish you had stopped in Florida in January.

They were bothered enough to cut in half the number of delegates awarded by Michigan and Florida.

I don't think its unreasonable to expect a 75-25 Obama/Clinton split of Edwards' voters.
