Governor Stickland Endorsement-------

Today, Governor Ted Strickland endorsed the reelection of Tom George for Mayor of Lakewood.

The everyday kitchen table issues and progressive politics which Strickland champions are the same issues that are important to Lakewood.

Endorsements count, especially from a Governor who won over 65% of the vote in Lakewood.

I guess we'll find out how much it counts on Tuesday. ;)

Anyone else get a blast reminder call from Strickland to vote for George today? Thoughts?

I am really impressed with how hard George is fighting back after the primary.

I hope that whoever wins works just as hard once they have the job.

Ryan,

thanks for posting one of the most constructive comments in this years election period.

Sorry Ivor but Ryan is it really impressive how George is fighting back? It seems that while there must be a ton of money that he has thrown at this election, I still wouldn't say I'm impressed. The mailings that I've seen have not been focused on voting for him but voting against Fitzgerald. Only my opinion but impressed would not be the first word that comes to mind.

Shawn,

Did I quote him saying that it's impressing how George has fought back?

Read the quote again, maybe two or three times, just to make sure you understand it, then jump to your conclusion.
