Please view Ron Paul's video on Youtube.

He is a true conservative Republican back to the days of Thomas Jefferson. He brings out some interesting ideas regarding regarding our role in the world and what we should be doing - Constitutionally.

I think he makes some very good points - what do you think?

If people were not one issue voters then he would have a chance.

I'm not so sure he doesn't. This is one issue. But he is the only Republican that will pull us out of Iraq. And he really wants to return the Federal Government to doing what the Constitution wants it to.

Plus, the way he caught my attention was during the debates when they asked the candidates to raise their hands if they believed in things like Evolution - he was one of the few that did. He is an MD! He believes in science.

Plus he was the first to correct others about the fact that Iraq wasn't involved in 9/11 and Iraq didn't have weapons of mass destruction.

He also discussed the problems with the war on Drugs being a $400 billion dollar failure.

So he definately isn't just 1 issue - but I will agree that this video was pretty much that.

Yes, Ron is the only Republican that will pull us out of Iraq. He also seems determined to shrink the Federal Gov (this is a good thing)... The Bush admin should have never ever mentioned 9-11 and Iraq in the same sentence. The framing for the Iraq war should have been built on Saddams history of not cooperating with the UN (terms of surrender)and his crimes against humanity.

The one issue comment was directed towards the Republicans. Many republicans will not vote for Ron based upon his position on the war. Sad

Thomas Jefferson was neither a conservative or a republican.
There is no purpose for imagining what he would do today, or what anyone else would do today.
his primary quandry was how to divy up the nearly empty resource rich land.

American success is much less a triumph of values than an extraordinary run of dumb luck.

Every policy Ron Paul opposes is just as Constitutional as policies he endorses.

It is merely more dignified to say the "Constitution wants it to be this way" than "I want it to be this way".
