Is this group still formed in any way or did it break ties following the earlier failure of the Smoking Ban (in Lakewood only)?

not sure - is this the group that was formed by Tony George (not Mayor George) of Harry Buffalo, etc.? I know in many places you can still smoke em if you got em. You will always be able to one place or another, legally or illegally.

I'm not sure who started it. I seem to remember seeing the owner of the Patio out front on it though. It would make sense that Tony would have been a big part of it as well.

For some reason I think Mickey Krivosh was a member of the board.

The Lakewood Hospitality Association (of which I am a member) is alive and well. Its board consists of Mickey Krivosh (Around the Corner), Angelo Lauria (The Five O Clock), Johny Dimassa (Iggys and the Flying Rib), and Damon, whos last name escapes me at the moment, who owns the Patio.

It was founded by many people of which Tony George was one. Its members still meet, though not as often as during the fight to defeat the proposed smoking ban in Lakewood.

Many of our members are still quite active in the smoking issue on a state level at this point.
