Mayor Declares "Buckeye Day" in Lakewood

Observers:
As you know I bring you exclusive "corridor comments" in my city council columns.
I have just been informed that in his capacity as Mayor of Lakewood (and Ohio State Alum) Thomas George has declared today, Monday January 8,2007 "Buckeye Day" in Lakewood, Ohio!
I think we can all be proud of the contribution that Cleveland area schools bring to Ohio State football. It takes strong competition from all the area high schools to produce a Heisman Trophy winner.
As an added note, Police Chief Mally cautions everybody to be extra careful driving tonight!
