I'm thinking of doing a count the next time I take a long walk down Clifton. I wonder which area has the most "deposits?"

I had heard that one of the citizen boards that concentrates on keeping Lakewood beautiful was looking for a new member but don't know whether the position has been filled.

You might think about sending a letter to the mayor and your council rep. to request to be added to one of the boards.

I think you've got a future in keeping Lakewood clean and beautiful and I commend your bringing these things (and the portable ashtray) to light.

Lakewood depends on citizen volunteers for many different jobs and it also depends on citizens to step up and ask to volunteer.

Thanks DL you are very kind. I think I will just remain a renegade for now, as mentioned in a thread about snow shovelling. There are things we can do without joining any groups or being on any boards, but again I do appreciate your kind words.
