On the 3-Year Anniversay of Russia invading the Ukraine, this sole Ukrainian was protesting at Claes Oldenburg's "Rubber Stamp" aka the FREE Stamp. We as a community can do better show up on the 8th.
Friends and neighbors,
Are you as concerned and upset with the state of our democracy as we are, along with many of our family, friends, and neighbors in Lakewood? Do you want to have your voice heard? Join your community for a rally in support of federal workers and for support of Ukraine. This Saturday, March 8th at 2:00pm at Lakewood United Methodist Church, 15700 Detroit Ave. Bring a sign and bring your voice. Be engaged and creative, and take a stand . All are welcome.

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men (and women) to do nothing".
We hope to see you tomorrow afternoon.

A good turnout on a cold but nice afternoon...

Dan Shields hits the street, old school.

The line up shouting and waving signs.

More neighbors stop by.

Dan Shields joins with Lakewood Councilman Bryan Evans on the line.
The support shown to the protesters was very big and very positive.
Good work Dan and members of LUMC.
