LO_20_04 On The Streets And Online - Quiet With Some Fun
Posted: Thu Feb 22, 2024 6:37 am

Well it has been kind of quiet for the past two weeks, but we still rounded up a bunch of news, articles, and stories to make your week more fun.
The big call outs go to City Council with their information on the new Marijuana Laws, and Lakewood. Mayor George brings us up to date on projects, and where we are finding money to help with all of the projects. News that longtime Observer supporter Kira Krivosh, is running for Common Pleas Judge, her husband Ryan Krivosh helps with that story.
One of my favorites this week is longtime friend, schoolmate, photographer and author Scott MacGregor drops another book, with help from one time Lakewood Observer cartoonist Gary Dumm. Fascinating story, great illustrations, and fun for all. Except the guy that was "Captured!"
Every issue of the Observer makes me proud of Lakewood and Lakewoodites. In a city and at a time when there are so many cracks in our societal norms, we all get together regardless of party or club affiliation to all work together for yet another issue filled with love and respect for our city and fellow residents. It proves that even in some of the toughest time, sharing stories and photos bring us together, breaking down superficial walls to bring us closer together.
Speaking of Time check out the story on Lakewood Clock Shop, that just moved to a better location.
You can pick up a printed copy at over 100 locations around town, including many apartment mail rooms.
