many more trees down. This one in backyards between Virginia and Lakeland.

Power was out in many small areas around town.

The wind is suppose to increase throughout the night hitting speeds of 50 mph or more by 5am.

Be safe out there.

Looks like that tree was hollowed and susceptible to wind like this. Take a good look at trees that may show signs and have then checked by an arborist.

Every tree here has rot. Most were Silver Maples that are reaching the end of their life as well.

The one on the pickup failed at the base, and there was no root cluster left, all rotted.

Any one of these trees could have killed someone coming down.
