We have a winner!
Thank you to all that decorated, nominated and voted. We had a great group of Lakewood homes and decorations!
The house with the most votes in 2023 was
First Place - 1258 Edwards
Congratulations! You have won $125.00 in gift certificates from our sponsors. Woodstock BBQ, India Garden, West End Tavern, Root Cafe, Carabel Salon.
To remind everyone how we all got here. December 1st we ran an open nomination process where anyone could nominate homes around Lakewood for their holiday decorations. They could be nominated for nearly any reason. beauty, ingenuity, colors, fun, or because they are on a friend’s or your house. These were then photographed, posted and voted on by the public. If you home was not nominated and you think it should have been, OR, you know of houses that should have been nominated and weren't. It is on you, you had 2 weeks to nominate.
The community then voted on them. This year we have a record number of votes, and a record number of votes done wrong. We reminded everyone that you could vote once a day, for 3 different homes, but you must vote for 3. Seemed simply enough, and the number of valid votes would underline that fact. Odd fact, the miss-cast votes would not have changed the final outcome.
With that in mind here is 2-8th and two honorable mentions...

You have won $50.00 in gift certificates
Fourth Place - 16131 Lake Road
You have won $45.00 in gift certificates
