No one is returning calls at City Hall.

My quest for more information on the sale of the family health center site is at a standstill. As of today no one has been able to provide a copy of the fully executed Master Agreement.

I find that odd.

Unless one subscribes to Cleveland.com, this link cannot be fully read. If you could sum it up, that would be appreciated.

Nothing odd there, as proven here time and time again, the only people DESPERATE to fill the Holespital, and the ones that dug it.

I always see this as desperate surgery to cover up the scar they caused.

Judging by the total lack of use of Bernice Pyke Park, this would not see much more use.

While it pains me that there is nothing there, we should wait until we have a proven winner to fill the whole.

Until then, place the rush hour towed cars there. That way Lakewood residents would not have to go to Parma to get their cars. We could charge a slighly less storage rate.

OR the City of Lakewood Truck Park, hell we know it works, charge a fee to set up there and make some $$$$$.

Memers of Council Tom Bullock and Cindy Marx propose spending up to $150 000 to add planters, park benches, public art and refuse containers on the edges of the vacant lot.

Bullock and Marx were strong supporters of closing the Hospital.

The City has no idea when construction might begin on the development project. Bullock stated that the long wait for the project keeps getting longer. He also mentioned that delays are beyond the City's control.

The reporter wrote that numerous calls to City Hall remain unanswered.

How Cindy Marx ever got re-elected is BEYOND ME . . .

I'm sure there are better uses of a spare $150,000 if the City has it.

And 4 more years of Mayor George does not bode well for the City.

The hospital provided $2 million in revenue for the City along millions more in economic activity.

Perhaps the "public art" mentioned could be a huge billboard featuring the likeness of Mayor Summers and his Council allies accompanied with an apology.

So much damage for so little gain. Well. No gain actually. Not for the City anyway.
