Lakewood residents have nominated their selections for the Most Distinguished Tree Contest and now it’s time to vote for the best in each category and win some great prizes.
Categories are:
The Right Tree for the Right Spot
The Most Beautiful Conifer
The Most Magnificent Tree
The Oddest Tree
Voting Process: Go to http://www.lakewoodobserver.com and click on Photo Galleries on the right hand side of the homepage.
Write down the number of your top choice from each of the four categories. See links below
Go back to the home page and click on Daily Question (directly below photo galleries). See links below
Please enter your name and email, then only the four different numbers of the photos that you chose separated by commas. No addresses, no comments.
One submission per resident, if name and emails are not provided , the votes will not be counted.
Votes may be submitted now through September 30, 2023.
On October 1st, the votes will be tabulated and the winners will be announced in the October 4th issue of the Lakewood Observer, posted online on the Observation Deck and highlighted on the Tree Advisory and Education Board’s webpage on http://www.lakewoodoh.org.
Owners of the selected trees will receive a certificate from the City of Lakewood noting their selection in Lakewood’s 2023 Most Distinguished Tree Contest along with a prize from one of our sponsors.
The nominating resident(s) will also receive a prize. In the event of multiple nominations, all nominating residents will receive a prize. The top 2 runners up trees in each category will also be identified.
