VOTE, VOTE, VOTE

Lakewood Observer’s Volume 18, Issue 21 is filled with good information about everything that has happened in the past couple weeks, and things about to happen, like elections.

Since day one of this project we have not endorsed candidates, only school board levies and bond issues after they were proven to be needed to keep our schools on track. The same is true this year, however we do have a ton of information on who is running, what they are looking to do, and what their history holds. A wonderful mix from the residents of Lakewood.

You can still vote for your favorite halloween house. Yes we realize it is late, but we still need to find a winner! November 5th is the last day for voting!

To see the houses and get the number to vote on them go to:

Then stop by the Question of the Day to vote. You can win!

You can pick up the latest edition of your paper, the Lakewood Observer at over 100 locations around Lakewood, or download the digital version here:

Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to be part of this historic project.

Peace/love

The Site Preparation At The Intersection of Detroit and Belle

For the time being let's put "pins" in the following questions until we can learn more:

If there is no contract with the developer mentioned by the mayor and the terms of that contract are still being negotiated, then on what basis is the City of Lakewood pursuing its new site preparation work?

Hasn't the City of Lakewood spend more than $9,000,000 already on site development?
