Big week for the planning for the future of the youth and families of Lakewood. 3 committee meetings this week and one next. Stop in to hear more about this process.

Councilman Demro is chairing a Youth Master Plan committee meeting tonight at 7 p.m. in the jury room at city hall.

The meeting deals with youth recreation facilities and, I'd imagine, will touch on issues many folks have been discussing lately, including perhaps city parks and green spaces.

I'll be in attendance as well. Hope to see you there.

The Health and Safety committee will be meeting on Wednesday, Aug 23rd at the City Hall Auditorium starting at 6:30pm. If you would like to contribute to creating a youth friendly city and this topic is of interest, you are invited to attend.
