Yesterday afternoon People from all over started to show up at the Free Stamp in solidarity with the people of the Ukraine.

National Anthems sung, dancing, and much talk about the out of control Putin.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine will be remembered as a defining moment of our lifetimes. Unfortunately we've had too many such occasions in our time - Jan. 6th, George Floyd, etc., it's a long list.

Are you comparing the Russian military invasion of the Ukraine to Jan 6th, George Floyd, that within five days thousands of people including women and children have been killed and are presently being subjected to the artillery, bombing, and missiles strikes to a DC civil disorder and the murder of a convict by a police officer?

I never was never in combat, but I've been in exercises and demos for the brass when artillery and Cobra's were simulating supporting an infantry company using all their weapons including mortars that was under attack. You have no concept of how destructive this fire power was in five minutes, even in 1963. What I observed only represented a fraction of the destructive power being used in the Ukraine and it's not Hollywood on a quick video of a single explosion.

We should probably give Russia a free pass on Ukraine. After destroying Iraq, Libya, and a large portion of Syria. Maybe even Laos. I wanted to mention Detroit but that is more of a Methodist guilt thing. Anyways, Russia has only been invading Ukraine for about a week. So, if they leave soon it will be much less time than 18 or twenty years.
