So as predicted, and often repeated, Neff used a council spot to propel her to what she really wanted.
Interesting to see now if she rewards Brian Taubman for throwing his massive support behind her. Hmmm, isn’t that special?
So her open seat will mean an appointment? Yet another way the political brokers keep control of things.

I have a funny feeling we will be talking about this one for awhile.
How does Bullock end up making it through. He is against oversight, truth, and honesty with residents.

I've only been here 6 years and am wondering if I'll ever see a person of color elected for anything before I die here ?

Canary In The Coal Mine
The continuing re-election of Councilman Bullock is for me the ultimate "canary in the coal mine".

I thought that after he assaulted City workers in front of Marry Arts his political career was over.

I thought that after he assaulted City workers in front of Marry Arts his political career was over.
His legal record, his failure to be honest and truthful, his working closely behind the scenes to close the hospital losing the coty's $278 million dollar asset for $1.00 meant nothing.
It has become obvious between Bullock election and the BS community pages, Lakewoodites prefer being lied to by "friends," than knowing or caring about the truth and what is really going on in the city.
City used to pride itself on critical thought, education and and a general intelligence. That has been wiped away by bullies and rat fuckers.
