How about a story of a community that comes together, hand in hand with the police when called upon.
The story features handfuls of brave residents that remained cool, calm, and together as senseless random acts of violence played out on their streets.
A story where the residents seamlessly worked with police until the criminals were quickly caught and jailed. Usually within hours.
That is the story all criminals fear. That is the story the brings a town together.
Lakewood, we have been through this before. We simply stay on the streets, in the parks, and live open in our community.
