Another Car Over The Cliff At Detroit Extension

The last time I heard that call go out it was for a Porsche trying to out run the police. It launched off the end of Detroit Extension and cleared the road going down into the Emerald Canyon, landing on the other side. I believe both people died in that one.
Cleared the road, barely caught dirt then down the other hill. Hit a tree.
The next morning at Kufner Towing.
"Expired Plates Leads To Wild Ride For Two From Fairview"
A little after 3pm today, another car started off on the same trip!
Fire Department had just gone down the cliff with a backboard and basket to bring person back up.
When you look from this side you can see just how far the Porsche flew in the air. It cleared everything in this photo!
This time the car caught a tree farther up the hill.
After removing the driver, and possibly others. Lakewood Fire Department secures car for Kufner Towing.
Kufner moves in to tow the car up the hill.
Good work Lakewood Police, Lakewood Fire and Metro Park Police. Fast, efficient and very well done.
