One Shovel Wide...Please!

Good Friends in Lakewood Land:
Well, time to activate the Lakewood Observer banjo again.
I certainly don't feel up to the task, especially with fellow banjo player Steve's passing, except for one thing;
My dear late dad, Bob Rice, passed away in January 2015, and literally, on the day he died, Dad and I completed our last song together, "One Shovel Wide", about a heroic Lakewood lady who had just shoveled the snow off the walks on our street, so that the children could get to school.
Steve Davis loved this city, and was all about helping Lakewood to become an even a better place for all of us. So was Dad.
We need to continue their example, and that's why I'm re-posting this link today in their memory.
This is just a reminder to clear your sidewalk snow, at least one shovel wide.
My dear friends Rick and Cindy Benjamin helped me to put this song out just days after Dad's passing. Here's a link to that song's video:

Back to the banjo,
Gary
