What A Show! In The Skies Over Lakewood!

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Last night and tonight you can easily see and photograph 3 planets overhead.

Image
The Moon, Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter all in a line.

Image

Image
The moon by itself. A mere 238,900 miles away.

Image
Jupiter, colors visible. 446.13 million miles away.

Image
Saturn, which has it rings on display making it look like an oval. 889.73 million miles away.

Take a break, then walk out in the morning and you will clearly see Venus, and Uranus in the morning sky until about 7am.
