All bark, no bite

Post by Peter Grossetti »

It's been nearly two and a half years since Lakewood City Council repealed the pit bull ban.

Just curious ...

... were the repeal opponents "all bark and no bite?"

... no rivers of blood in the streets of Lakewood?

... no uptick in the number of children mauled and maimed?

Or has it become blatantly obvious what the actually intent of the 2008 ban legislation was? (Ditto the backyard hens issue)

Not to mention leash-walking dogs in parks and outdoor basketball, although still not in the old tennis courts at Kauffman Park.

Every so often I hear about an incident involving a pittie which, considering the news' preference for bad-news pittie stories, is probably a lot less than other types of dogs. Bad-news people stories, on the other hand, are plentiful these days. Lots of crime these days. Lock your car no matter where you are.
