Are Children Actually Supercarriers?

It is hard to believe that this has only been around for 8-10 months. Some days it seems like years. But scientists still know very little about the virus.

So when someone tells you something or shows a study, it could be wrong by the time you see it, if it was right at all.

For the past couple weeks as government pushes to open schools, those pushing the hardest are saying things like, "Children are immured." "They do not have it as bad as older people." and "They do not transmit it." This was all by those desperate to open schools.

Meanwhile in Florida that was a 23% increase in COVID patients under the age of 25 last week.

And then this popped up in my news feed...

Researchers find COVID-infected children are major carriers, further complicating the school-reopening debate

Which only makes sense, as the younger the child the more often they are face to face with adults.

One last note to everyone. It makes sense to err on the side of caution as no one knows the full extent of what os happening.

Are these children showing no symptoms carrying it as one does shingles, HIV, Herpes for the rest of their lives.

Will it show complications in 6 months, a year 10 years?

When a person gets it, and loses 10% of their lung capacity, or gets lesions on lungs, kidneys, brain, etc. and then catches it a year later which is completely possible when we look at other corona viruses like the cold. Does it take another 10% or 20%? How long until those complications take you into the fatal if caught zone?

No one knows. No one.

be smart, be safe, be nice

This is the thread Alex mentioned only without shameless self promotion using other people's children.
