O'Neil Healthcare's Parade For Loved Ones

A day after the March against Police Brutality and in tribute to Black Lives and George Floyd went past O'Neil Healthcare, they put on parade for residents featuring friends and family in cars decorated and honking their horns. While some pf the residents watched the march, many more came out for the parade of friends and family members. They deeply care about the marchers, but LOVE their family members!

Residents are lined up about 10' apart with masks on them and everyone else.

The cars came in off Bunts then wound their way through the various buildings making up the O'Neil Healthcare complex on Bunts and Detroit.

I often get invited to O'Neil festivities, as they are always doing something to keep residents entertained from dog shows to cook offs.

When I get the call I am always wondering what it will really be like.

Then I get there and see the smiles on the faces of the residents, the family members and staff.

How can your heart not melt with scenes like this. A young boy speaking with grandpa.

Everyone has fun!

As always O'Neil Healthcare thank you for the invite and the support.
