Lack of moral leadership

The irony of not having moral leadership in our country is that the evangelical right has forfeited their chance to fill this void by supporting the amoral actions and politics of our current President. Normally a country's spiritual leaders will speak out publicly against these crimes against the disenfranchised members of our country but even if they try to do so, their hypocrisy would overshadow their words.
So, what will fill this spiritual void ? Possibly nihilism and anarchy ? Historically, we have had Presidents who would be speaking to the Nation in words of reconciliation and peace. Trump doesn't know how to do this. It isn't in his character.
