‘It’s Just Everywhere Already’: How Delays in Testing Set Back the U.S. Coronavirus Response
A series of missed chances by the federal government to ensure more widespread testing
came during the early days of the outbreak, when containment would have been easier.
"...They began performing coronavirus tests, without government approval.
What came back confirmed their worst fear. They quickly had a positive test from a local teenager with no recent travel history.
The coronavirus had already established itself on American soil without anybody realizing it."

We are no better than the authoritarian Chinese who tried to hide this epidemic.
Trump did the same thing - the US government knew back in January this either was here, or on the way.
It’s unconscionable that thousands of Americans will die when some of those deaths could have been prevented.
Again, if you are over age 60 or have hypertension or diabetes, you are not only more susceptible to the virus, the clinical course is more severe and the mortality rate skyrockets.
Please think of others. While younger people may survive an infection, they will likely infect 2-4 others. What if that other person is your mother, your immune compromised child, or really, any other human being?
Everyone needs to do their part to slow this coming storm. If not, the health care system will not be able to handle it. And I mean ANY emergency - accident victims, strokes, etc. It will overwhelm the system.
Stay home if you feel sick. Keep your hands washed and away from your face. Avoid crowds. Think about others.

Well we saw the Great Denier limit travel but left travel to the UK open.
3 team members from McLaren F1 team landed in Austrailia, felt sick and the entire team withdrew from the event.
The NBA suspended all games for the foreseeable future.
These are billions of dollars of losses on top of the trillions lost worldwide in the market.
I am going out on a limb, and saying those that say it is a hoax, are fools.
The real problem with this virus, is that many carriers never know they have it, yet over if you are over 70 chances of death are 25%! Over 60 3.4%,
Then the bed problem that we know here in Lakewood, value of a hospital bed, and respirators.
Last night I heard a stat, About 1 million beds in USA, about 800,000 respirators with emergency stock in there. At any given time 800,000 beds are in in use, and a major of the respirators are in use. This means when the virus hits, with 20% of all people getting it needing hospital or respirators and instantly the hospitals are so crowded, then cannot treat heart attacks, accident victims, etc. Then with health care workers infected the whole system, breaks down into chaos.
Stay tuned.

Anyone over 60 with routine doctor appointments, procedures, or follow ups for a stable condition should cancel those appointments. If you become ill, call your doctors office and discuss your options. You need to avoid going where you could become infected.
The Clinic is actually encouraging their primary docs to cancel routine appointments.
