Presidential Politics in Lakewood?

The Democratic Presidential primary is less than a month away....most folks expect the race to still be hot when Ohio votes.
What are the chances that one of the campaigns has a major event in Lakewood?
It's a longshot, but I'd love to see any of the candidates come to town.
Reasons for skepticism:
Lots of other large states also vote on March 17.
These stops are rare....the only major presidential event I can recall is Bill Clinton stumping for Hillary to a full house at LHS in 2008.
Reasons for optimism:
Lakewood is a heavily Democratic town. Turnout here should be good, with the school levy also on the ballot.
The Cuyahoga HQ of Bernie's "Our Revolution" has been located in Lakewood for five years. Mike Skindell and Tristan Rader are longtime Bernie supporters.
Bloomberg's HQ is in Beachcliff in Rocky River.....very nearby.
Nickie Antonio, Ohio's first openly gay legislator, is an endorser of Buttigieg.

I know this idea is anathema to Democrats in Lakewood, but wouldn't someone appealing to moderate and conservative Republicans be better to oust the man in the White House in the presidential election. By that I mean Bloomberg. I now have grave hesitations about his non-disclosure agreements but he still seems better positioned than many of the others to beat Trump. Isn't that the most important thing? I have a sign in my yard supporting Bloomberg , but it might just as well be saying beat Trump. He seems the most focused of all on that all-important goal.

Well Dan, it seems counterintuitive, but Bernie actually does well against Trump in swing states.
One of several articles about how Bernie polls well against Trump. How did Trump get elected when all the analysts said “no way?”
I think perhaps people want to “shake it up,” which is how we got stuck with Trump.

While I find your take refreshing, the last Republican that tried it...

Candidate John McCain's VP choice Sarah Palin closing out the campaign in Lakewood. Of course we now know McCain's camp was trying to hide Palin from media and people.
And then there was...

Bill Clinton at LHS stumping for his wife Hilary.
It would seem we cannot advertise ourselves as a must stop for a soon to president yet.

We're a VP and suporting player kind of town. With all the primaries next month I don't think we'll see much of anyone prominent.

Caribou Barbie in Lakewood....I completely forgot about that.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised....after all, America has completely forgotten Caribou Barbie.

Tonight the Lakewood Democratic Club heard from representatives of six presidential candidates' campaigns. Afterward, all attendees were invited to vote in an unofficial straw poll. (Anyone in the room was invited to vote, whether voting member, Lakewood resident, nonresident, whatever.)
The vote and its results are entirely unofficial. The club takes no side in the primary.
For anyone interested, the results of this unofficial straw poll were:
First-choice votes: Warren/Biden tied.
Second-choice votes: Warren, followed by Buttigeig.
Combined first- and second-choice votes: Warren first.

I’m a Warren supporter and I approve those results!

It would be exciting if Trump resigns on Medical Grounds.
Then Bloomberg swoops in and gets the RNC nomination.
He will end up being the new version of the old-timey progressive republicans.
There is only about a six week window for this to be possible.
