Meghan George:

My search brought up nothing for O'Leary. Maybe someone out there can find it.

According to this:
The pre-election report was due in October.

a campaign budget...
does not reflect PACs spending on advertising for or against a candidate.

The county website is wonky but I found that inputting Lakewood brought up all the reports.
Sam is on page 11, to save time.
Curiously, there is no report yet - only his initial designation of Treasurer form, filed at the outset of the campaign.
And I believe Ryan is correct, that some spending will not be easy to document.

Here is a filing with the State of Ohio.
Sam had a lot more money than Meghan.

I hope readers will actually view this report as it lists Sam’s donors and how much they contributed.
It’s so funny to see how virtually all of Sam’s money came not from the “little guy” in Lakewood, but from out of town donors. Lots of big Union PAC funds (hoping for the building co tracts), realtors, and just wealthy business people. The individual amounts were significant - not the usual $25. One of the George’s donated $5,000
So Sam tried to portray Meghan’s campaign as being backed by outside of Lakewood interests, when in fact, it was HIS campaign thAt did so.

I read through both lists and found them to be truly eye opening.
Some donors made multiple donations.
I found other amounts to be rather staggering.
But then again, I'm just a 'little guy'.
Thankfully, the candidate, who is decent, honest and respectable, is the one who prevailed.

Yes, a lot of donations were in the $1000 plus range.

It would be interesting to see how much money was spent by various PACs on this election.
Add that to what Sam's official campaign spent and you see a whole lot of money went to waste.

Does anyone out there know why the O'Leary campaign chose NOT to report to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections?
All other candidates in all previous Mayoral elections reported to Cuyahoga County.

FWIW
Latest number I heard, through someone that should know, is just north of $180,000 on the O'Leary Campaign.

Why doesn't Donald Trump release his tax returns? I imagine that the reasoning is similar.
