Now that the election is over, I want to share the most despicable moments of the campaign. I’m not sharing this with people to deter them from running. I’m sharing to point out the duplicitous nature of The Lakewood Citizen and the dangerous, criminal natural of Rick Uldricks.

Back in 2018, I had won my precinct race in 2H. My daughter captured the picture and it got published in The Lakewood Observer. She was 10 at the time, and Rick Uldricks told her it belonged in a dumpster. At this point, I blocked him, which triggered his anger.

Last winter, he was complaining on The Real Lakewood Community Page that I had him blocked for political reasons. Not only did people familiar with the situation correct him, Christina pointed out that he mocked her step-daughter. At this point, he called Christina “one of Brad’s many wives” and to “shut the fuck up.” At this point, Christina blocked him.

Fast forward to this summer. We organized a Kauffman Park clean up as a request from a resident. Rick Uldricks was waiting there, followed Christina around, and got aggressively loud in her face to the point she had to call the Lakewood Police Department. We have a copy of the video for our protection.

The final incident was after I started my own company. Rick took it upon himself to start calling and harassing my clients on behalf of The Patch to verify if they said the testimonial and to verify they were actually a company. My attorney confronted The Patch to put an end to it.

Now Rick is no longer with Lakewood Patch, but his wife is & is continuing his harassment. He is still running the fake website of The Lakewood Citizen.

I’m telling you all this to be careful if you come in contact with him. He has a criminal record of stalking, and he will make your life miserable. He’s known for harassing the females of his targets the most.

Thank you, Brad. You ran a really good campaign. One of the reasons that more people didn't run was this individual's antics.
It's important to note that as a campaign volunteer for Mike Summers, this individual was given a position in the city's building department. He still uses a photo of himself with a car sign reading "Official City Business" on his Twitter feed. Along with many others who post here, I also have been victimized by the guy. He has often positioned himself as a representative of the mayor while conducting his dirty business and was never disavowed by the current administration. Nobody wants to see anybody lose a job, but there is a time and place for it. Nobody wants to see anybody go to jail, but there is a time and place for it. Let's see how things change.

As I noted earlier, Brad, and as I will reiterate in other places and personal conversation, sometimes it takes multiple campaigns in Lakewood to attain an elected office, or get the attention of elected officers so you might gain a key appointment. I think you are a really good man and I hope you persevere. You will make a great civic servant.

PS: Now that you are freed for election constraints, I hope you continue to post on the Deck. We need more people like you.

This person sent emails and letters containing “Hateful”, “David Duke”, “Anti-Semitic”, and “Bizarre and Strong Sexual Acts” Content to his political enemies (According to Police).
